Paul Frank Signs License Agreement to Service Canada with NTD
2008/07/21
Costa Mesa, Ca - Paul Frank is known in the world for stylized characters and graphically driven apparel and accessories. Even when Paul Frank operated out of a garage space in Huntington Beach, CA, design was king and still is today. When looking to Canada for a new licensing partner, Paul Frank chose NTD for their ability to manage entertainment properties and brands like: Barbie, Hello Kitty, Marvel, Sesame Street, Nintendo and Peanuts.
"NTD Apparel has a proven track record with many iconic brands," said Ryan Heuser, president and co-founder of Paul Frank Industries. "We feel confident in their ability to execute and manage our strategic vision in Canada."
NTD Apparel will produce a full collection of tees, fleece, sleepwear, swimwear and sportswear for men, women, youth, toddler and infants.
Paul Frank will be announcing new licensee relationships throughout 2008 and beyond as a result of their new partnership with global brand strategists, Creata. Paul Frank plans on keeping their distribution model the same. Any new distribution outlets will be a result of a specialized product offering. This new licensing model will allow Paul Frank to focus on design and marketing while each licensing partner will concentrate on improving quality control, delivery and competitive retail pricing.
